Chapter 01
Nights are when families stop coping
Someone can be steady all day and unsafe at three in the morning, up and wandering, confused about where they are, trying to get somewhere that does not exist anymore. The family member down the hall stops sleeping long before anyone admits that out loud.
That is usually the point a family calls about round-the-clock care. Not because daytime has gotten worse, but because nighttime has stopped being safe to leave unwatched.

Day cover, overnight cover, or living in
Day and evening routine support keeps the daylight hours running the way they always have. Overnight supervision covers exactly the hours a family cannot watch and still function the next day. Personal care assistance runs through either, whenever it is needed rather than on a fixed clock.
Some families need one of these. Some need all three stitched together into something close to live-in care. Both are normal requests, and neither is treated as an upsell from the other.
Chapter 03
How the handover works
When one caregiver's shift ends and another's begins, nothing gets lost in between. Family communication and written care notes carry forward what happened, what to watch, and what worked that day, so the next shift starts already knowing the person.
That handover is the part that makes 24-hour care actually feel continuous instead of like a rotation of strangers.
Booking the block that fits
Four, six, eight, ten or twelve hour blocks, or genuine around-the-clock cover when that is what the situation calls for. This is the page where those hour blocks matter most, because round-the-clock care is rarely one flat shift, it is usually several blocks stacked to cover a full day and night without a gap.
The free meet and greet is where the actual hours get worked out, against the real routine of the house, not a standard package.
